Frozen food distribution
Holding -18 °C from door to door with insulated containers and deep-freeze eutectic plates.
A business searching for a frozen food transport container is really asking one question: how is -18 °C protected from door to door? The Turkish Food Codex sets the frozen figure at -18 °C or lower at every point of the product and permits a brief rise of no more than 3 °C, but only in transport, distribution and retail cabinets. That allowance is not a storage tolerance, and ice cream is regulated separately, outside the communiqué.
The passive arrangement for frozen rounds
The cold source sits inside the container: an insulated Isotec TBX carries eutectic plates frozen for the deep-freeze regime. GEBHARDT gives -21 to -25 °C as the container's deep-freeze pre-cooling target and recommends 12-20 hours of pre-cooling; the plates freeze overnight at the depot. The vehicle stays standard, and fresh and frozen goods can share one vehicle in separate containers under separate regimes.
Discipline decides the round
Frozen distribution is won at the handovers: goods loaded only when frozen through, lids that stay shut between stops, and a delivery order that keeps the container closed. A plate prepared for the wrong regime, or a container skipped in pre-cooling, cannot be corrected on the road.
The record answers for the trip
Turkish Food Codex 2014/48 requires ambient temperature during carriage of quick-frozen food to be recorded with date and time and the records retained. The set value and the air reading do not replace the product check at acceptance; both sides of that record belong to the same file.
What the programme offers
Isotec TBX comes in nine sizes from 410 to 1500 litres, on castors or on a pallet base, with freezing racks that let plates freeze through with an air gap, and EPP thermoboxes for the last metres. Size and plate regime follow the round's route, volume and target temperature; send those three facts with your enquiry and we propose the right one of the nine sizes.
