Seafood logistics
Insulated containers with a liquid-tight tray and rear drain for moving fresh fish and seafood.
Moving fish and seafood has two problems at once: holding the cold and managing the water from melting ice. GEBHARDT Isotec TBX Seafood solves both together - the insulated body holds the cold, an inner tray collects the meltwater, and a valve on the rear wall drains it without leaking into the vehicle or the store.
Sizes 725, 795 and 1000, with an 18-24 litre collection tray depending on model. An existing TBX 725/795 can be adapted to fish later with the 18-litre stainless tray accessory - no need for a new container. The container is washable, which cuts the cost of hygiene inspection and vehicle cleaning.
The habit in the field is a polystyrene box plus ice. The case for TBX Seafood is less about the product than the operating economics: the container is reused again and again, no water leaks into the vehicle, and hygiene documentation gets easier. On the cold side a -3 °C eutectic plate is used, with ice where needed. Share your goods, volume and route time, and we work out the right model and tray layout from there.
Meltwater goes to the tray and drain, not the vehicle
The second problem in moving fish and seafood is the water from melting ice. TBX Seafood solves it inside: the insulated body holds the cold, the stainless inner tray at the bottom collects the meltwater and a valve on the rear wall drains it without leaking into the vehicle. On the cold side a -3 °C eutectic plate is typically used, with ice where needed.
