A refrigerator's suitability for vaccines cannot be judged only by whether it cools or by its product label. Review the vaccine's approved product information, institutional procedure and measurement evidence together; limits may vary by product.

At commissioning, assess temperature distribution under a representative load and use pattern. With sensors whose calibration is current, test measurement points, alarm operation, record retention and power-loss response. Document results with equipment ID and conditions.

Place product according to the measurement map and storage instructions. Do not decide release, quarantine or disposal after an excursion from appearance; send measured exposure to the responsible vaccine or quality staff and obtain a documented decision under product information and site process.
