Rules for excess-width signs and additional lighting may vary by country, vehicle type and permitted route. Do not infer a universal “wide vehicle needs LED” threshold; first check the applicable official rule or route permit.

Establish the vehicle’s registered width, loaded configuration and operating country and route. Check the current competent-authority text for sign type, position and any lighting requirement. Without that information, do not state that a particular product is mandatory.

Check product fit against the drawing

Choose front or rear position, left or right mounting and a fixed or folding body. Measure the flat mounting area; check on the vehicle that the bracket clears moving parts, cable travel and the field of view. For an LED variant, match operating voltage and connector to the existing electrical connection.

On the order, state vehicle and sign position, model or item code, voltage and connector type. After fitting, check that the sign folds and returns freely and the cable moves without tension.
