Flight time alone is not enough to design medicine air freight. Add waits between collection, airport acceptance, transfers, arrival and final delivery to the shipment duration. Take the required conditions from the product's current instructions.
For packout validation, test the product or a suitable representative load on the expected longest route and transfer pattern. Record sensor position, starting conditions, load, door-to-door duration and raw data in the acceptance plan. Ask the carrier which stages use temperature-controlled areas and where ground-handling handovers occur.
If dry ice or another regulated item is involved, confirm current acceptance requirements for the shipment classification, packaging, quantity and carrier. Booking confirmation does not prove temperature suitability; route testing must cover flight and ground processes.
