Measure time from market handover to vehicle loading and record product condition; a busy morning alone does not prove loss.

Check the crate on receipt

Record product, lot or supplier, handover time, measurement point and instrument. Take readings using the product procedure.

Visually check ice distribution, crate drainage and whether meltwater contacts the product.

Make dwell and loading time visible

Record receipt and loading times for the same crate. Repeat a product reading with the same method where needed; do not use ambient air as a substitute for product temperature.

Link loading sequence, covered holding area and delivery route to the lot record.

Compare suppliers and process

Across multiple shipments, compare supplier, dwell, ice and drainage observations, and receiver feedback. Interpret results only for the same product and measurement method.

A receiving decision should show product records alongside actual handling conditions.
