When energy use or room performance changes, do not attribute the cause directly to a panel joint; review measurements and operating conditions together.

Collect comparable data first. Gather room temperature records, outdoor conditions, door use, product load and refrigeration unit operation for the same period.

Confirm that the measuring instrument and sensor location are documented and suitable.

Inspect the joint and surroundings. Compare site conditions with the panel drawing; photograph panel joints, corners, floor and ceiling interfaces, door seals and pipe or cable openings.

Record condensation, frost, seal separation or visible gaps with location and date. These are observations, not root-cause proof by themselves.

If using thermal imaging or surface readings, include ambient conditions, method and instrument in the report.

Specialist review and repair

Review installation documents, joint details and sealing material with the manufacturer or qualified specialist; do not apply unapproved filler.

After repair, compare temperature, consumption and visual findings again under similar load and operating conditions.

Do not assume performance improved until cause, measurements and work performed are documented.
