One temperature or mechanical exposure threshold cannot be applied to every wine and packaging format. Review producer instructions, bottle type, closure and route together.

Before a trial, record the route, waits, transfers, vehicle type and load position. Place the temperature logger where it represents product conditions and document its location.

Check that cases are restrained to limit tipping and impact risk. If a shock or vibration indicator is used, add its type, position and reading to the shipment file.

At receipt, link checks of packaging, closure, leakage and breakage to the batch. If there is a complaint, collect route data, logger records and damage photos in one incident record.

Use the trial result only for the tested product, pack and route. Reassess whether evidence remains comparable when carrier, packaging or route changes.
