If a washed container crosses the dirty-return route again, the process is not complete. Even a small area needs a one-way sequence and a visible status split.

Short answer

Mark the stages on the floor in one direction from dirty receipt to clean parking: sorting, wash, rinse, drying, inspection. Record the wash programme, drying and clean parking position for each container, and separate containers awaiting inspection and quarantined ones from clean stock by colour or zone.
