Crystallisation describes the physical state of a honey batch; it does not by itself decide commercial acceptance or quality. Check the label, batch specification, and buyer's acceptance conditions separately.
When comparing crystallised and liquid batches, record lot ID, packaging, storage history, and sample taken. If laboratory analysis is required, confirm in advance which method and parameters the buyer or producer needs.
If heating to liquefy is considered, obtain quality approval before processing. Record equipment and batch ID, method for measuring actual product temperature, duration, and sample locations.
Link pre- and post-process samples to the same batch and compare only with analyses required by the product specification. Do not treat improved appearance as proof that quality indicators also comply.
For later batches, review storage and heating history alongside analysis results and buyer acceptance. This lets the business assess repeatable practices using its own records.
