Ice cream delivery does not end at the shop address. Waiting and handling between the vehicle and store freezer belong in the measurement plan.
Texture and product conditions. Softening and refreezing can affect texture; a final reading alone does not show the conditions during the trip. Follow the product's transport instructions.
Map the handoff
Log loading, lid openings at each stop, outdoor waits and the time placed in the store freezer. Record product and ambient readings separately.
Match container size to the route
Compare the volume opened at a stop with the load remaining for later drops. Trial stop clusters, compartments or separate containers in the real workflow, then select by measured access order.
Account for season and fill
Record summer and winter routes, loading arrangement and stop count separately. Results from one period do not automatically apply to other conditions.
Make return records comparable
Add product or batch code, route, receipt time and logger data to the return note. The responsible person should decide reuse or hold under current product instructions.
