A recyclable label alone does not prove that your site collects the packaging or that it is processed into new material. The outcome depends on local acceptance and the packaging's condition at handover.
Ask your waste provider three questions: Under what conditions is this material accepted? Which facility or stream receives it? How are recycled quantities and rejected loads reported? Keep the answers with the date, packaging type and quantity.
Cold-chain packaging may be wet, food-soiled or combined with other materials. Do not apply an acceptance answer for a clean sample automatically to this waste stream; confirm it in the condition in which you use it.
Compare reusable containers using service life, returns and damage records. Reuse count alone does not prove environmental benefit; the comparison needs the same function and reporting boundary.
