The Turkish Customs Guide's informational text describes external examination, partial sample inspection or full inspection; the customs administration selects the approach case by case, and the guide is not binding law. The shipment team should not open a lid or intervene in product handling on its own.
Record instructions and initial condition. Log the officer's instruction, inspection time, container or vehicle ID, existing seal number and visible damage. If a pre-inspection measurement is requested, identify the device and location using the product procedure.
If sampling or partial unloading occurs, record which lot, carton or quantity was affected and who received it. If a seal is cut or replaced, add old and new numbers, time and official report reference to the transport file.
Obtain an authorized post-inspection decision
Follow customs-site instructions and the product owner's quality procedure for resealing, temperature checks and onward movement. Link event records and logger data to the lot; do not assume a general inspection duration or responsibility rule.
