Panel area alone does not show whether solar can run a cold store. The timing of consumption and expected generation matters.
Collect hourly meter readings and compressor and defrost records. Ask the proposal to separate site conditions, shading, seasonal generation, grid connection and storage assumptions.
Review load and generation timing and the backup scenario with the designer. Measure commissioning under actual load and monitor product conditions under the approved procedure.
