Turn a temperature-record request into a measurement plan before dispatch. This clarifies what the device represents and how buyer and seller will use the data.
Clarify the request
Document product and lot, route scope, measurement start and end, sensor position, sampling/report format, time zone, device ID, calibration evidence and data reviewer. Agree the position with the buyer and show it on the load diagram.
At handovers, record logger ID and seal or package condition. At arrival, preserve the raw file; share device details, route timestamps and incident notes with the graph. Align records from different devices on a common timeline.
If a deviation appears, segregate the load and send unaltered data to the buyer and authorised quality lead. Define the written decision path for acceptance, rejection or other product action in the contract or procedure in advance.
