Drainage checks depend on the container model and its use. Do not assume the base is perforated or fitted with a drain; verify its construction from the product drawing and current care instructions.
Identify the design and evacuation path. Record the model ID and check the drain location, plug or channel arrangement, and water outlet direction on the manufacturer's drawing. Take cleaning chemicals and pressure methods from instructions for the same model.
Inspect after actual cleaning
After the site's normal wash and dry steps, inspect the open container for residue, pooled water, blockage or leakage. Record access to the outlet, plug condition and lid closure; link any photograph to the model and date.
If a fault is found, remove the container from use and refer it to the responsible maintenance lead. Repeat the same cleaning and drainage check after repair; do not generalize the result to another base design.
