The Isotec TBX is forgiving to wash: GEBHARDT lists hand washing, a pressure washer and an automated washing system, and its construction keeps water out of the insulation layer. It names Calvatis CF315 as the best-suited cleaner: it removes deposits and leaves the tub's appearance unchanged after many washes.

After each trip the container is emptied, removable parts such as slide bars and shelves are taken out, the body is washed, rinsed and dried before the door is closed. Do not hold a pressure-washer jet on the seal or hinges; check the seal by eye at every wash. On the TBX Seafood, the 24-litre inner tray and the rear drain valve are rinsed separately.

In an audit a record helps: which container was washed, on what date, with which cleaner and what state the seal was in, on one line of a log. GEBHARDT containers are regularly certified to ATP and HACCP requirements by DNVGL. If you need model detail such as pressure or chemical concentration, ask Aris Makina; we obtain it from GEBHARDT and pass it on.
