Suitability of a food-contact container does not follow from a mark alone. Required documents can vary by material, intended use and destination market. Ask the supplier to match its documents to the container’s actual use.

Compare the document scope with real use. Identify the container material and any contacting parts such as lids or seals. Tell the supplier the food group, contact duration and temperature conditions; ask whether washing and reuse are covered. Keep the model or batch ID and issuing business visible in the record.

Separate market rules from supplier records

For sales in Türkiye or the EU, check the current official text and requirements applicable to the material type. Do not assume a supplier declaration replaces other records requested by a competent authority. Recheck the document revision when the model or supplier changes.
