Treat the drill as a procedure check, not an exam. Do not test on real product or a live shipment. Write the scenario, participants, start time and stop conditions in advance.

For a vehicle breakdown, for example, observe access to the breakdown card, whether the alarm reaches the right person, whether logger data can be retrieved and whether a transfer decision is escalated to an authorised person. Measure durations using consistent start and end points.

After the drill, log findings with an owner and due date. Keep closure evidence such as an updated contact list, tested access or revised instruction. Check in the next exercise whether earlier findings were resolved.
