A roll container can simplify delivery only if it moves continuously from vehicle to sales area. Before choosing a model, check the load dimensions and usable clearance at every transfer point.

Compare loaded width, length, and height with the vehicle opening, lift or ramp, store entrance, thresholds, and aisle. Test turning and manoeuvring space on the actual route. Confirm dimensions against the supplier's technical drawing.

Trial the route from vehicle to delivery point with a representative load. Record any manual lift, snag, parking time, and intervals when doors remain open. These observations show which transition is the bottleneck and where hand transfer remains necessary.

Verify how the container is restrained in the vehicle against the body, floor fittings, and manufacturer instructions. Confirm strap, barrier, or locking options in the product sheet and vehicle layout; do not assume this equipment is standard on every model.

After the delivery round, reconcile container counts against units delivered and returned. Record losses, damage, and where empties were left to identify which store or vehicle arrangement needs adjustment on the next run.
