Before price, look at where the operation gets stuck when choosing a roll container. The three GEBHARDT models solve three different jobs, and the right one follows from that order:
- If empty containers take up space on the truck or in the warehouse, choose Rocotec: its side walls let it nest up to four high (1+3), and GEBHARDT quotes up to 75% saved in the warehouse and on the truck.
- If you carry valuable goods, choose Secutec: a lockable galvanised metal container with four fixed side walls.
- If neither applies, RBX is enough: low dead weight, a metal-reinforced plastic base, swivel and fixed castors; shelves, side and back walls and straps can be added later.
All three carry 500 kg. RBX and Rocotec come with a 670 × 815 or 720 × 815 mm base and Secutec with a 720 × 815 mm base; Secutec stands 1849 mm overall, so check vehicle and door heights beforehand. A single operation can run mostly RBX, a few Secutec for the valuable shelf and a few Rocotec on the line that empties often.
Four facts are enough to decide: cycle frequency, empty-return ratio, theft risk, and rack and vehicle dimensions. Ask Aris Makina for the configuration and we obtain the quote from GEBHARDT and pass it on. For the empty-return calculation, see the maths of the empty run.
