Returning empty containers uses vehicle capacity; nesting can change that flow. However, catalogue dimensions for a model and the fleet’s trip and cost results are different data.
Verify the model data first
Check the manufacturer’s nesting arrangement and permitted stack dimensions for the exact Rocotec model code. Do not generalize these values to every roll container.
Then measure the return. For each trip, record container count, vehicle space used, stack arrangement, and securing limits. Compare with the previous container under the same route and collection conditions.
Calculate possible weekly trip reduction from vehicle runs actually avoided. Estimate fuel and labour effects separately from your route and invoice records.
