Build a handoff record from slaughterhouse to cutting plant

Link lot identity, dispatch time, vehicle and receiver acceptance in one file. Assess product condition and measurements under site procedure.

Short answer

Align lot and acceptance information between slaughter and cutting sites before dispatch. Record product identity, slaughter or process time, container or hanging arrangement, vehicle ID, seal and handover time. Have the receiver document measurements or nonconformities and refer them to quality; do not treat a short route as automatic proof of suitability.

Transport from slaughterhouse to cutting plant is managed through product and record handoff between sites, not simply distance. Verify conditions appropriate to the process stage in both sites' approved procedures.

Match the lot and owners

Join product or carcass identity, lot/traceability code, process time, dispatch owner and receiver in the shipping record. Show container, hanging or vehicle arrangement too.

Inspect equipment before loading

Check cleanliness of contact surfaces, container condition, restraint and drainage under site procedure. If measuring, record device ID, calibration status, point and time.

Obtain handoff evidence at receipt. Record delivery time, seal/package condition, receiver count and measurements taken. For a mismatch, refer lot segregation and next-step decisions to the authorized quality process.
