The quantity, packaging and liquid behaviour of offal and other by-products can vary by shipment. Select the container against the product description and consignee specification; do not assume one regime for every by-product.
Before loading, inspect the container, lid and drain fitting. Record lot, container identity, closure or seal status and vehicle compartment; separate different product flows with clear labels.
After unloading, record visible residue, cleaning time and the person who checked it. Detergent and disinfection methods should follow the site's approved procedure and product compatibility information; hold a questionable container from reuse.
