A display may look normal in a quiet hour, while frequent openings and restocking create a different load. Base decisions on the time profile from a logger beside the product, not a single display reading.

Map one week of use

Record break start and end, deliveries, restocking and door activity. For the same product group, log temperatures at a fixed display location before the break, after peak use and during recovery. Include the product’s labelled conditions on the form.

Measure under sales load where products sit; an empty display or room-air reading does not provide the same information. Repeated rises show which shelf, restocking moment or service practice needs review.

Where possible, schedule delivery outside breaks. Place products according to their labelled conditions and keep restocking brief. If the record shows those conditions were not maintained, hold product from sale, notify the responsible lead and repeat measurements after corrective action.
