Track stretch use by weighing rather than estimating. Grams per pallet helps compare shifts and wrapping settings; it is not by itself a load-safety measure.
Set up the measurement
Use the same roll and weighing method. Record start and end weight, completed pallet count, and product group.
Match wrapping conditions
Log wrap layers, pallet type, load dimensions, corner protection, and machine settings. Do not combine unlike loads in one average.
Track the result of lower use
Assess film weight alongside damage, shifting, and delivery-condition records. Add the wrapping method that meets transport requirements to the operating procedure.
Check the packaging flow
Film type, contamination, and local collection conditions can affect recovery options. Classify waste under the site procedure and current local rules.
