Route software generates recommendations from the data and constraints it is given. If product instructions, container capacity or loading sequence are absent, a short route alone does not prove a suitable transport setup.
Define equipment and load conditions
Record vehicle availability, container internal dimensions and capacity, separation needs for product groups, loading sequence and delivery windows. Link the applicable transport instruction to each product group.
Match software constraints to the field workflow
Check whether the software represents capacity, separated loads, stop order, waiting and delivery windows. Add missing parameters to the route approval checklist and assess them manually before dispatch.
On a pilot route, compare planned and actual stop times, lid openings, delays and product-adjacent measurements. If they differ, identify the missing constraint and update the route model and equipment arrangement; do not assume a savings percentage.
