To compare quotations, first align the operating conditions. Tray size and count, starting conditions, ambient environment, holding process and cleaning routine should come from your operation.

Ask every supplier for documented performance or a test method under the same written conditions. Results using different loads, environments or measurement methods are not directly comparable.

Separate cost items: carrier body, trays and rails, any powered unit, energy, maintenance, repairs, spare parts and storage. Make excluded components visible in the quotation.

Use your operation's records to count usable trips during the period being assessed. Divide total ownership cost by that count; do not assume service life or savings.

Do not decide from purchase price alone. Assess models that meet the same specification for the same product layout alongside the measured cost per trip.
