Thermobox (EPP)
The Thermobox is an EPP container for chilled, frozen and pharmaceutical goods. It needs no power and no compressor: the insulated body slows the heat exchange, and the cold itself comes from a eutectic plate frozen before the run. With the lid on it measures 600 × 400 × 320 mm outside and 538 × 338 × 257 mm inside, holding 46 litres on the EURO footprint. The plate rack and the volume expansion frame are ordered separately.

Plate bodies and melting points come from GEBHARDT's plate data, the 538 × 338 mm interior from the thermobox flyer. Aris Makina compiled the fit column by comparing the two. -14 and -18 °C exist only in the 480 × 280 mm body; the melting point is chosen from the target temperature of the goods.
Attachments and spare parts
Ordered separately; all of them fit the 600 × 400 mm EPP box.
Eutectic plate rack
600 × 400 × 85 mm. The eutectic plates go into this rack; the perforated floor keeps the plate above the load and extends the transport time.
Volume expansion frame
600 × 400 × 90 mm, adding 12 litres. It sits on the box, between the body and the lid. GEBHARDT's English flyer prints 85 mm for the same part; we take the height and the added volume from the manufacturer's product page.
Replacement lid
600 × 400 × 35 mm. Because the lid is a separate part, damage to it does not cost the whole box.
Accessories
Eutectic plates
The box's cooling source. Food-safe shell, non-toxic brine filling, four melting points: -3, -14, -18 and -21 °C. Bought once and refrozen before each run.
Plate freezing racks
The rack keeps an air gap between plates, so each plate freezes through to the core. GEBHARDT recommends freezing at least 5 °C below the plate's own melting point.
Quarter dolly
A 400 × 600 mm platform rated at 250 kg. Same EURO module as the box footprint, so the boxes travel on wheels in the warehouse and inside the vehicle.

Frequently asked questions
How long does the box stay cold?
The time depends on the plate's melting point, the temperature of the goods at loading, how often the lid is opened and the ambient temperature. The plate rack is offered to extend it. Send us the route, the goods and the target temperature and we will work out the plate with you.
What is the difference between EPP and a one-way foam box?
EPP is expanded polypropylene. The flyer describes it as robust, long lasting, easy to clean and recyclable, and the box is dishwasher safe. A one-way foam box goes to waste after each trip; the EPP box is washed and returns to the cycle.
Can it be used for hot goods?
The flyer rates the body up to +80 °C and lists catering among the applications. The box insulates but does not heat: for hot deliveries the loading temperature and the length of the run have to be planned in advance.
