A useful operating guide tells each shift what to do, when to do it, and whom to contact when conditions deviate. Write short steps that can be followed on site instead of a long technical description of the plant.

For each topic define an owner, action, limit or condition, and record location. Include door use, goods-in, stacking and airflow clearance, temperature measurement point, alarm checks, cleaning, and fault reporting. Take numerical limits from product requirements and the site's approved procedure.

Make the deviation step explicit: if a reading is outside the limit, hold the product, record the time and value, contact the named quality or facility lead, and do not dispatch or use the product until a decision is made. Include a backup contact and how to reach them.

Try the guide during a real shift. Review it when products, equipment, layout, or alarms change, and tell staff where the current copy is kept. Fill gaps found in practice by naming an owner and a record location.
