Check three points: contact along the gasket, whether the latch completes closure, and any hinge looseness or door sag. Note ice, soil or rub marks around the frame too.

Record visible damage around the gasket and any uneven closure line. If sealing is in doubt, use the maker's check method and maintenance team; a visual check is not a leakage measurement.

If the door will not close, the gasket is damaged or the inside release does not operate, follow site instructions and log maintenance. Have adjustments and replacements made to the door maker's instructions.
