A logger records temperature; its position determines what that reading represents. Contact with a pack may not represent product-load temperature.
State the measurement purpose. Is it a route trial, shipment record or receipt check? Purpose sets the point and evaluation rule.
Secure the device
Keep the sensor apart from packs in a holder that prevents movement in transit. Link the file to the order and device ID.
Responsibility at delivery
Assign who stops the device, reads the timestamp and retrieves the file. One point does not prove the whole load.
