For a customer to assess a quote, they need to see its scope and pricing unit. One total does not show which work is included or when the price changes.

Build the calculation from actual records

List route and stops, load dimensions, carrier quote, fuel, driver time and equipment use. Tie coolant preparation, cleaning, waiting, return freight and measurement costs, where applicable, to actual invoices or work records.

Explain whether the customer is billed per round, pallet, container, kilogram or delivery. State which product configuration, delivery window, wait or route change alters the price. Identify excluded work and its owner.

After service, compare the actual route and invoice with the quote using records rather than estimates. If they differ, show the reason and the assumption used for the next period.
