Poultry route planning must account for container handling as well as delivery windows. Take product limits from applicable instructions and evaluate route performance from your own trip records.
Collect stop data
Give each shipment a route and lot code. Link arrival, waiting, container opening, product handover and measurement times to each stop.
Arrange the load for the route
Place frequently delivered items for access while separating product groups according to instructions and packaging. Show the picking order on the loading diagram to avoid unnecessary lid openings.
Review route order from evidence
Compare customer receiving windows, previous trip durations and reasons for waiting. If delays recur during the same part of the day, adjust stop order or delivery appointments with operations.
Record evidence at handover
If a logger is used, record its ID, location and calibration record; at delivery, note reading, time and recipient. Handle deviations under the approved product procedure, not by appearance.
