Choose the site by the time a container spends in the loop, not by the wash price: the number of containers needed is daily shipments times cycle time. Compare candidates per completed cycle with verified cleaning, on empty-return distance, dirty-to-clean flow, water and energy metering, wastewater conditions and shift capacity.

Central washing keeps quality in one hand but sends empty containers a long way; distributed washing cuts the kilometres but multiplies control and capacity.

The number of containers needed is daily shipments times cycle time: in an operation shipping 40 containers a day, one extra day on the empty return means 40 more containers. GEBHARDT states that the Isotec TBX can also be cleaned in an automatic wash plant.
