How to calculate thermobox quantity from cycle time

Daily dispatch count is not enough. Measure return, washing, drying and time to ready status from box IDs.

Short answer

Match dispatch counts to observed return, check, wash and dry time. Size for concurrent demand, then justify peak and damage reserves separately; count only complete body-and-lid sets.

Dispatch count alone cannot size the pool; holding, cleaning and drying delay readiness.

**Count states by ID** Separate ready, in-use, return, wash/dry and damaged boxes; scans show concurrent peak.

**Calculate from inputs** Daily demand times observed cycle. Example: 40 a day and two days means 80 circulating; add justified peak and damage reserves.

**Match bodies and lids** Count only clean, compatible sets that close.
