Read an indicator only under its model-specific instructions; do not use it alone to release product.
Confirm indicator type, model, lot and the activation and reading conditions in its instructions. Match it to the product and record a photo and time at receipt. A TTI or freeze indicator signals only as designed; it does not prove medicine quality by itself. Escalate deviations with the records and follow the disposition procedure.
TTI and freeze indicators may work by different mechanisms. Check the exact model's manufacturer instructions and use limits before interpreting its appearance.
Add product and indicator lot, activation time, device ID and a receipt image to the shipment record. Confirm the indicator is attached to the correct product.
If the indicator changes, send it with shipment records and product details to the quality lead. This signal alone is not a product release criterion.
