A temperature indicator label shows whether its trigger condition occurred. By itself, it does not provide a temperature curve over time or how long an event lasted.
A label and logger do different jobs. A label supports screening; a logger provides a time-stamped series of readings. Choose according to the task instead of assuming a cost or logger count per shipment.
Check before placing a label
Use the technical sheet to confirm a trigger threshold, shelf and storage conditions, and placement instructions suited to the product group.
What to do after a colour change. Keep the batch code, label photo, receipt time and any accompanying logger data. Hold the product for review by the responsible person under current product instructions.
Decision boundary
A label alone does not prove that a product is safe, unsafe or should be discarded. The technical threshold and product instructions govern assessment.
