A certificate statement on a product page starts the right question but does not replace a file. On its Isotec TBX page GEBHARDT states that the container and its production processes are certified by an external body under ATP and HACCP requirements. We obtain the current document for the offered product from GEBHARDT and pass it on; you check that its scope fits your model and route.

The GEBHARDT distributor for Türkiye takes that request to GEBHARDT and passes the returning copy on.

Under ATP the papers are separate. One unit of a serially produced type is tested and the report counts as a type approval certificate; it is valid for six years from completion of the test, and its expiry month and year are stated on the report. The certificate of compliance for each piece of equipment is issued by the competent authority of the country where it is registered. Compare model or type code, equipment class, issuer, number and date on the document with the configuration being delivered; a general page on a model family does not stand in for the approval of a specific container.

Ask for these with the quote:

  1. Exact model and accessory list
  2. Current copy of the claimed ATP document or test report, with issuer and number
  3. Covered model, temperature class, cold source and conditions of use
  4. Food-contact declaration for the actual inner surfaces and accessories
  5. Cleaning, use and maintenance instructions

Ask Aris Makina in writing whether plates, shelves, repairs or other accessories affect the scope.

HACCP is less a document than an operator's system: hazard analysis, critical limits, monitoring, corrective action and records belong to the business. A container's conformity does not take them over; route qualification, plate preparation, cleaning method and staff training are also your evidence.
