Orders and traffic can change during the tourist season; do not use regional population alone as a demand measure. Use your delivery records to estimate peak workload and off-season capacity.

Measure demand. Match order count and volume to day, time, product group and delivery point. Label missing data as an estimate; do not present it as an actual order.

Record route duration

Track loading, travel, waiting and delivery times separately. Assess changes in traffic or access restrictions separately from order volume when they affect trip count.

Plan after delivery

Specify where products wait and who is responsible when a business is closed. Verify required holding conditions in the product procedure.

Compare capacity options

Compare a permanent vehicle, rental, extra shift and portable containers across peak and off-season periods. Do not assume savings without measuring utilisation.
