In an empty insulated container the bottom crate carries the weight of those above it. A product shelf prevents that by splitting the load into levels. GEBHARDT states that, depending on the selected inner tub, up to five shelves can be used in one container and that the shelves suit standard Euro crates. The inner tub lowers the usable height, so changing the tub changes the shelf count.
- Take the usable inner height with your chosen inner tub.
- Measure the loaded height of your crate and add the shelf allowance.
- Divide the inner height by that sum and round down; the result never exceeds five.
For packaging other than Euro crates, the seating area on the grid is calculated separately. Send Aris Makina your package dimensions and we choose the tub and the shelf layout together.
