A serviceable body can wait for months because a small castor, latch or fastener cannot be found. Service life depends on this maintenance flow as much as on the strength of the material.
- Does the container stop working without the part?
- How often does it get replaced?
- How long does it take to obtain?
For a small part that gets a yes to the first question, set a minimum stock level; for a large part an ordering method is enough. Record the code of every part removed, the container it belongs to and the reason for replacing it.
If the same part keeps running out, correct the use, the flooring and the washing before raising stock.
