Calculate return performance from completed deliveries, recovered containers and actual added resources, not a proximity assumption.

Short answer

Group points by route or density cohort. For each cohort, record completed deliveries, containers returned, collection distance, waiting and labour over the same period. Compare added return resources per completed service; flag shared vehicle movements and missing returns separately.

Density alone does not show return cost. Compare actual collection and delivery data by cohort.
