Single-use to reusable thermal containers

The first step of the switch is counting, not buying: for one product flow, the current packaging, the delivery outcome and the container returns over the same period.

Short answer

First count, for a single product flow, the single-use packaging, successful deliveries, product loss and the return path; then compare the two methods over the same service unit and the same period. Count a reusable container as one service only when delivery and the empty return are both complete.

Without knowing current packaging quantities, delivery success, product loss and the return path, there is no way to measure what the new system improves.

Pick one flow with known boundaries and compare the two methods over the same service unit and period. If the return and cleaning steps are undefined, buying durable containers does not complete the switch.
