Do not assume ambulance cabin conditions meet medicine or specimen requirements. Determine which item travels in which container from current product instructions and the service protocol.

Document box type, coolant, loading arrangement and logger location according to the approved instruction for that product group. Reassess suitability if the vehicle or box setup changes.

At shift start, record box ID, cleanliness, preparation status, contents and logger on a checklist. Identify medicines and specimens separately; link batch or specimen ID to handover records.

During the shift, log recipient, time and box condition at handover. If there is an alarm, data gap or packaging damage, preserve the data and notify the responsible clinical or quality team.

Do not decide release, use or disposal after a deviation from an estimated vehicle temperature. Follow the applicable product protocol and authorized owner's assessment.
