A vaccine-carrier specification should cite current product information and the authorised vaccination programme. Define the accepted range from those instructions, then qualify the coolant arrangement and intended journey in a representative test.
Get the requirement before tendering. Obtain the target range, permitted transport window, planned route and opening scenario in writing from the product or programme owner. Name the product, intended use and dated source in the specification.
Describe usable internal dimensions and load capacity together with coolant and a fixed separator. Specify sensor position, display reading, data file, alarm or excursion notice and user instructions separately.
Measure acceptance under the real scenario
Before testing, define the product-equivalent load, starting conditions, ambient profile, lid openings, sensor locations and test duration. Take acceptance limits from current product or programme requirements; include raw measurement records in delivery terms.
Do not set universal rules for freezing risk, product stability or vaccination decisions. The authorised programme and product owner should decide how to handle an excursion.
