A container's catalogue dimensions alone do not show that it can be moved or carried safely in a particular vehicle. Check the container against the actual vehicle's access and restraint conditions.
Measure the full access path
Alongside container exterior dimensions, measure vehicle door opening, interior width and height, wheel arches, steps and the narrowest passage. Include clearance for wheels, handles, protrusions and lid opening on the plan.
Run a trial with a representative load
Move the loaded container through the door to its intended position. Check door closure, access to restraints, interference with other loads and the removal path at each stop. An empty trial does not verify effects of weight or an uneven load.
Compare the loaded container and other equipment against the vehicle's documented payload limits. If they do not fit, reassess container size, interior layout or vehicle choice; one vehicle trial does not prove compatibility across a fleet.
