One run reflects that day's conditions. Reviewing curves from the same TBX under similar conditions can reveal a repeated shape difference; it cannot explain the cause by itself.

Align to the run start

Use lid closure as zero instead of clock labels. Each file's time zone and logger clock must be reconciled first, or the time comparison will shift.

Match similar runs

  1. Starting temperature and loading conditions.
  2. Plate type, count and preparation record.
  3. Load, route stops and run duration.

Read the difference carefully

Compare the start, slope and timing of any rise. For example, if a rise begins in the same section of three similar runs, check the door opening or stop record for that section; the pattern alone does not establish a cause.

What breaks the comparison

Different goods, plate arrangements or durations can mislead. Keep unmatched runs apart; with few examples, record a monitoring note rather than a conclusion.

A repeated pattern in one container narrows what to investigate.

Record the finding

Add the TBX ID, run IDs, conditions, interval where the difference appears and files reviewed to the maintenance or review record. A post-repair comparison also needs similar conditions.
