Cleaning a fish transport container should follow residue, drain design, surface material and the site's hygiene plan. Do not apply one generic chemical or temperature recipe to every container.

After unloading, identify the container and remove residue and liquid under site procedure. List inspection points such as drain opening, corners, gasket and joints.

Take detergent, disinfectant, preparation and rinsing conditions from chemical labels, equipment instructions and the approved hygiene plan. Resolve conflicting instructions before acting.

For each wash, record operator, time, chemical, container ID and visual or measured inspection result. Close drying and return-to-use steps under the procedure.

If residue, odor or surface damage remains, segregate the container and record correction and recheck. Define clean acceptance with the quality owner in the site procedure.
