Under braking the plate in the container and the container itself move the same way. Article 65(h) of Turkey's Highway Traffic Law (text amended by Law 7574 on 12.02.2026) prohibits loading in a way that lets the load slide or tip for lack of proper lashing and securing. The EU cargo-securing guidelines require the restraint to withstand 0.8 times the cargo weight forwards and 0.5 sideways and rearwards; on a loaded 500 kg container the push of a hard stop is about 400 kg.
A loose plate falls onto the product and crushes the packaging, and if it cracks its salt-water filling runs onto the load. So the plate is not laid flat: for the TBX GEBHARDT offers an insert shelf that carries only eutectic plates, and the plate stays in that slot.
The container is restrained separately, because a wheeled container slides under braking and damages the body; straps or rails go to the vehicle's cargo-securing fittings. At the end of loading check three points:
- plates are in the slot and uncracked
- the container is tied to the body
- the lid is fully closed
Add a photo of the layout to the loading sheet so that every driver builds the same arrangement.
